How do I apply for a job in Statkraft?

All open positions in Statkraft are announced on our website. If you find anything of interest, we ask that you apply directly. To ensure that each candidate is given a comprehensive and fair assessment, we only accept applications uploaded via our online application form.

How does Statkraft’s recruitment process work?

The recruitment process in Statkraft is straight forward, transparent and fair. We advertise our vacancies on www.statkraft.com/career and in our social media channels.

All applications, CVs and necessary certificates must be submitted online. Please note that attachments should be in the same language as the job advertisement.

Once you submit your application, the following will happen:

  1. Once Statkraft has received your application, you will receive an e-mail confirming your application.
  2. A recruiter will handle your application once the application deadline has passed.
  3. If you are a suitable candidate, you will be invited to a first interview. There may be several rounds of interviews before the selection process is completed. Interviews may also include a psychometric test, an occupational personality test and/or a case. During the interview(s), Statkraft wants to get to know you, but it’s also important that you get the opportunity to find out whether Statkraft is the right fit for you.
  4. The selected candidate will receive an offer from us, and the remaining candidates will be notified that the position has been filled.

Do you offer internships?

Statkraft offers internships based on internal demand. All internships in Statkraft are announced on our website. If you find anything of interest, please apply directly via the advertisement.

Statkraft also offers a summer project for students. The summer project runs over 8 weeks, usually from mid-June to mid-August each year. All students who are in their 2nd to 5th year can apply for the summer project, and we usually hire 6-8 candidates. Read more about the summer project here.

Do you offer part-time jobs for students?

What language should the cover letter and CV be in?

The cover letter and CV should be in the same language as the text in the job advertisement.

Is it a requirement to speak Norwegian?

Statkraft’s work language is English, so it is not a requirement to speak Norwegian. However, certain positions may require proficiency in Norwegian or other languages, but this will be stated clearly in the job advertisement.
